Round Rock puts together an impressive drive to begin the second half, starting well into their own 30 and works their way up inside the 10 with a reception by Nash. Hinson adds another touchdown to his list as he carries the ball in from about the 5 (31-0). Kosari sends the kickoff soaring past the goal line for the touchback(this means the kickoff went out of bounds in the endzone, meaning the opponents start out at their own 20). The bad only gets worse for the Mavs, and they turn the ball over within their own redzone. Parsa then tacks on another field goal (34-0). Liam Beard (#10) finds Nash on a perfect 15 yard fade for another Dragon touchdown(41-0). Not stopping there after another forced punt, Round Rock eats up the clock on a long drive and gets AJ Burleson (#4) the call on a sweep and he dances his way in for 6 more.
What's new though? Again pocket pressure and run control shut down McNeil offense, and the Dragon offensive unit continues to build chemistry and showcase their composure. Another textbook team victory for Round Rock football with a final score of 48-0. The Mavericks go home empty-handed, and the Dragons can now shift their focus on the challenges that lie ahead. Everyone is excited to see what's in store for these young men. Boys, keep picking them off one by one. Y'all come out to Westlake next week and support the brotherhood.
